![]() Playing through mixbus with a keyboard the latency is definitely below 6ms and does not add up to a 48kHz sample rate. So why does mixbus run at 48kHz when I configured it explicitly for 96kHz when I created the session ? Where do I correct it.? Amazing.!ġ) On the 1818vsl I configured 96kHz and 256 sample buffer size.ģ) I configured a mixbus session when creating it, but regardless the fact that it was all configured 96kHz sampling rate, I still get a 48kHz error in the loopback section.ġ.png - The error in loopback warning me that Mixbus runs at 48kHz sample rateĢ.png - The default unaltered by me audio/midi setup, which confirms 96kHz. Mixbus is one of the greatest software purchases I made. Which audio panel is that as it is not that in the preferences.? I just cannot figure out how to set buffers and sampling from within MixBus.įrom searching the Forum, it is mentioned to be in the Audio Panel.? Up to now I had to trick MixBus in believing it cannot get any signal, by which it gives me a nice popup at startup where I can set buffers and sampling rate etc, for a session. In order to characterize the system in a closed loop test, I need to know how to access MixBus buffer settings without tricking it to give me the interface as follows. I dont detect any latency playing my keyboard. I am really impressed about how well mixbus works. I really dont think the latency is that low, but I will get the truth as I will test the system latency with a pulse generator and oscilloscope on the 1818vsl. Mixbus runs great at 96kHz with 2.7ms latency as reported by mixbus. This should be an easy answer for a seasoned mixbus user.
